Animaux Circus Madness

As regulars may know, we have 3 super-talented illustrators hiding in Wood Street Indoor Market for the past 6 months. They are none other than the trio from Animaux Circus.

Their brilliant work can be seen in various commissions in and around the market including murals, our flyers, posters, signs, and also the new shop sign for the fabulous Limpopo Butcher on Wood Street Plaza. (South African Butcher. You must try the superb Boerewors (beef sausages ))

Party on the Wood Street Plaza on 21st July

12 noon to 4pm

All Wood Street Ward residents and their family and friends are invited to this free community event in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee, The Olympics, and Wood Street First.

 
The Party on the Plaza
A good old sing-a-long, family picnics, children’s games, bouncy castle

The Olympics
Opening Torch ceremony, our own Olympic sports games, sporting VIP

Wood Street First
Community fun dome, children’s ideas for change display

As well as the above fun party activities for all the family there will be live entertainers, disco, competitions, dancing, snacks & refreshments – and it’s all free!

Wood Street Indoor Market
Also on the day Wood Street Indoor Market will have its own events, food stalls, and musicians.

This event has been organised with the help of: Wood St Safer Neighbourhoods Panel, Walthamstow Cricket Club, Wood Street First, Fun day Event Committee, Ascham Homes, Tenants Associations, Residents Associations, Soul Project, Neighbourhood Watch Groups, Local Schools, Local Councillors and Local Businesses.
